July Give Away

by WCG on July 5th, 2011

I have just completed an arrangement of Lead, Kindly Light. I would like to kick start it's distribution by offering it for FREE for the next 15 people that respond to this post or to my Facebook page. Each person will get 25 copies free to use however you want.

Also coming up... Each year when I submit to the LDS Music Festival, if I get rejected, you get it for free. This year I submitted, Zion's Youth. In a couple of weeks, I will be offering 10 people the chance to get this piece for FREE. Keep watching for that. In the mean time, let me know how I can help.

Thanks, Jason! It is awesome for you to share your talents. I look forward to keeping tabs on your progress and hope to see one of your pieces win the competition one of these years. I am going to be working on a few pieces myself to submit next year and will gladly share these with you as you have been so generous in sharing yours. Thanks again!

I just got called this morning, so I haven't scoured your facebook page yet. Do you have your 15 yet, or can I add myself to the list?

When I was in the Cougar Marching Band at BYU, we (the baritone section) would play Lead, Kindly Light after the football games. I've always loved that song.

I just received this calling and just found your website. I'm also wondering if you've given out all your freebies yet? I love that hymn. While serving a mission in Germany, we were asked by an investigator to sing at her church and this is the hymn we chose. Imagine singing this acapella in a old, cold Catholic church! It was awesome.
Anyhoo, would love a copy of it if still available.
Thanks!

Just sustained as ward choir director three weeks ago. Love it! I like what you said about recognizing those spiritual testimony moments and acknowledging the talents consecrated each week.
